Clee St Margaret

The hamlet of Clee St Margaret is a Conservation Area in the heart
of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The stone
buildings and Norman church nestle in a fold below Brown Clee (the highest
hill in Shropshire). The Clee brook flows down from the hill and through
the village, forming one of the longest fords in the country just outside
Glebe Farm.
Clee St Margaret provides an ideal location for those wanting peace
and
tranquillity amongst traditional English countryside.
Please note that Clee St Margaret is a small peaceful hamlet without
shops or a pub. Ideal for those who love the simple life!
Ditton Priors (4.5 miles) provides the nearest shops. Ludlow has both
large supermarkets and a renowned range of traditional bakers, butchers,
greengrocers and cheese shops as well as a frequent market selling a
full range of local produce. Surrounding villages and Ludlow have an
excellent range of pubs and restaurants.
