Glebe Farm is situated in the centre of the hamlet of Clee St Margaret about 7 miles (15 minutes by car) from Ludlow. We are a non working farm of 12 acres in an Environmentally Sensitive Area. We are managing the land to nurture traditional flower-rich hay meadows. In spring there are native snowdrops, primroses, bluebells and daffodils while in summer you can wander through the fields of knapweed, scabious, sorrel, ox-eye daisies and other native meadow flowers. Berries, mosses, lichen and fungi add to the autumn colour. Frosted trees against the hills add their own beauty in winter. Watch buzzards soar over the land, spot fox and badger tracks and see how many bird species you can identify. |
